01 The Problem

District-level journalism in Rajasthan was underserved by national platforms and plagued by 10+ second load times on legacy WordPress sites bloated with invasive popups, poor mobile legibility, and no structured indexing for search engines or Google Discover.

02 The Engineering Approach

Engineered a modern headless editorial publishing engine running on Next.js and Cloudflare Workers at the edge. Tuned a Devanagari typographic scale for maximum Hindi readability, implemented sub-50ms edge caching, semantic HTML5, NewsArticle JSON-LD schema, automated RSS feeds, lightweight non-intrusive ad architecture, and instant search.

03 Production Outcome

Live on edge infrastructure (marupatrika.amayos.workers.dev & marupatrika.in). Near-instantaneous page loads across Western Rajasthan on low-tier mobile networks. Full Google Discover & RSS syndication readiness with clean reader immersion.

04 Why It Matters

Because local journalism connects communities, yet regional Indian language publications were abandoned to bloated, slow, ad-ridden legacy portals.
