01 Problem

Digital sacred texts were cluttered with ads, missing texts, or generic e-readers. Practitioners needed a space that disappears — just text, practice, silence.

02 Approach

UI stripped to nothing. Offline-first PWA with Service Workers — texts cached forever in IndexedDB. Typography: Noto Sans Devanagari + IAST transliteration with diacritics. Dark/light modes respecting circadian rhythm. No analytics, tracking, accounts, or external requests after load. Next.js static export to Vercel. Content as MDX.

03 Outcome

Daily use across India/diaspora. Zero bounce on text pages. 'Invisible UI' proved: for contemplative products, less is essential. Offline works in temples, flights, remote areas. Zero server costs post-build.

04 Why it matters

Because some spaces should stay quiet — even on the internet.
